Sunset Over Selungo (2014)
The British award-winning documentary 'Sunset Over Selungo' (2014) is directed by Ross Harrison. Two tracks of mine are featured in the documentary, namely "Dæ, Mæ o Ål'sammel (You, Me and Everybody" and "Æ Ka'fe å æ Jørn (The Café on the Corner)". A third track Føjst (First) of mine is featured in the trailer. It was a unique opportunity, as a composer, to help such an important story to be told. Here, value is created for different groups, for instance, the director, the audience, hopefully and most importantly the Penan tribe, human rights and environmental organisations.
The film was officially selected by The Kuala Lumpur Eco Film Festival 2014 (where it won the Jury Award), Freedom Festival 2014 and Ekotop Film Festival 2014. On February 15th 2015, Sunset Over Selungo won both the Short Film category and the Audience Choice Award at the Films For the Forest competition at the SXSW screenings in Austin, Texas.

Balan The Blowpipe Maker (2014)
A 05:40 minutes video by Ross Harrison containing footage of Penan tribe member and craftsman, Balan, who makes blowpipes, a very rare ancient craft. The footage is taken from the documentary Sunset Over Selungo (2014). My song "Dæ, Mæ o Ål'sammel (You, Me and Everybody" is featured in this video, which was very well received. The video got officially Vimeo Staff Picked and was admitted by National Geographic in their short video show case. In addition to that the video was featured in highly respected blog Jungles In Paris, which lead to a mention in The Atlantic Magazine. In other words, the video has been exposed to thousands of people around the world.

Aardvark Letterpress (2014)
The American photographer and film-maker Nicholas J. Reid made this short documentary (watch it below) about the famous Aardvark Letterpress located in Los Angeles. On the film's soundtrack you find my track "Langs Mæ Æ Fjoe (Along the Fjord)". Another example on how collaboration can create something so warm and beautiful. You can watch the short documentary below. All the rights belong to Nicholas J. Reid.
